1.1 Background
Yogyakarta or Jogja is a city along with it doubles as the provincial capital of Yogyakarta Special Region. The city of Jogja is located in the island of Java, which borders directly with the province of Central Java and is bordered by the Indian Ocean. Jogja city is often referred to as a city of culture and students.
Yogyakarta is a city famous for its history and cultural heritage. Yogyakarta is the center of the kingdom of Mataram (1575-1640), and until now there is the Palace (Palace) which still functions in the real sense. Yogyakarta also has many thousands-year-old temples which are relics of ancient kingdoms, among them the Borobudur Temple built in the 9th century by the dynasty of Syailendra. In addition to the cultural heritage, Yogyakarta has a beautiful natural panorama and a very thick art atmosphere inside it. In terms of culture of Yogyakarta province is still very thick with Javanese culture. In everyday life art and culture seem inseparable and has become part of the life of the local community
In communicating, the language of everyday delivery is generally the people of Yogyakarta using the Java language. Yogyakarta Province is one of the central languages of Javanese literature such as language parama literature, literary variety, bausastra, dialect, sengkala and oral in the form of fairy tales, japamantra, pawukon, and Javanese script.
Places of tourism are also very impressive. No doubt many foreign tourists who stop in the middle of this exotic island of Java. That's why it is appropriate for the young generation, especially students of SMPN Geneng visit to gain knowledge to Yogyakarta. At least can know a little bit about the ins and outs of Yogyakarta. That's why we as a young generation is very unethical if we have never been to Yogyakarta and do not know history about jogja, because jogja has a long history in the formation of government of the Republic of Indonesia starting from the time of the kingdom until now. Jogja remains special in the eyes of the world.

Borobudur Temple was built on a hill that has been modified, with a height of 265 dpl.
2.1.2 History of Borobudur Temple
Borobudur was built by Samaratungga, an ancient king of Mataram kingdom who was also descended from the Shiailendra House in the 8th century. The existence of Borobudur Temple was first revealed by Sir Thomas Stanford Rafles in 1814. At that time, Borobudur Temple was found in a state of destruction and buried in the ground. The temple consisting of 10 levels actually has an overall height of 42 meters. However, after the restoration, the overall height of this temple only reaches 34.5 meters with the total area of the temple building as a whole 123 x 123 meters (15,129 m2). Each level on this Borobudur Temple from the first floor to the other six has a square shape, while the seventh to the tenth floor is round.
Borobudur Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in the 9th century. According to the inscription Kayumwungan, it was revealed that the Borobudur Temple was completed on May 26, 824, or nearly 100 years since its initial start. It is said that the name Borobudur means a mountain terraced - terrace or commonly also called budhara. But some say that Borobudur means a monastery that is located on high ground.
Some experts reveal that the position of Borobudur temple is located at an altitude of 235 meters above sea level. This is based on studies from geologists who are able to prove that the Borobudur Temple at that time is a large lake area so that most of the villages around the Borobudur Temple are at the same height, including Pawon and Mendut temples.
Based on the 842 AD Inscription, a Casparis historian states that Borobudur is one of the places to pray. Where in the prasasi contains the word "Kawulan i Bhumi Sambhara" which means the origin of purity and Bhumi Sambara is the name of a corner in the Borobudur Temple. Each floor on this Borobudur Temple contains different themes - because different at each of these levels symbolizes the stages of human life. It is in accordance with Mahayana Buddhism that everyone who wants to reach the level of perfection as a Buddha must go through every level of life. On every floor in Borobudur temple there are relief - relief which when read with coherence will take us around Borobudur Temple clockwise.
2.1.3 Borobudur Temple Building Form
- Borobudur temple layout length of 121.66 meters and width of 121.38 meters.
- 35.40 meters high.
- The composition of the building is 9 terraces terraces and a main stupa at its peak. Consists of 6 terraces square and 3 terraces berdenah circle.

- Moens: The city of the Buddha's high esteem
- Casparis: Derived from the word of the kamulan ibhumisambharabudara, based on a quote from the inscription of Sri Kahulunan 842 M which means a sacred building that symbolizes the collection of goodness of the ten levels of Bodhisattva.

2.2 Malioboro
2.2.1 Location of Malioboro
Malioboro Street is the name of one of the three streets in Yogyakarta City that stretches from Tugu Yogyakarta to the crossroads of Post Office Yogyakarta. The whole consists of Jalan Pangeran Mangkubumi, Jalan Malioboro and Jalan Jend. A. Yani. This road is the axis of Imaginary Line of Kraton Yogyakarta.
2.2.2 Name of Malioboro
Derived from Sanskrit meaning wreath, Malioboro became a flower whose charm is able to attract tourists. Not only laden with stories and memories, Malioboro also became a souvenir heaven in the heart of Jogja.
2.2.3 Malioboro
Malioboro area as one of the mainstay shopping areas of Jogja city, is supported by the shops, restaurants, shopping centers, and do not miss the merchants of his feet. For shops, shopping centers and restaurants are actually the same as business centers and shopping in other big cities, which are branded with big brands and there are also local names. The goods are traded from imported and local goods, from the needs Everyday until the goods electronics, furniture and so forth. 2.3.1 History of Parangtritis Beach
The history of the name Parangtritis can be quite interesting. That said, there is an escape from the Majapahit Kingdom named Dipokusumo who do the semedi in this area. While meditating, he saw water dripping (tumaritis) from the crevices of a rock (machete). Then he named the area Parangtritis which means water dripping from the rock.
Parangtritis beach is believed to be a manifestation of the unity of trimurti consisting of Mount Merapi, Keraton Jogja, and Parangtritis Beach itself. Local people believe Parangtritis Beach is part of the territory of the Queen of South or known as Nyai Roro Kidul. According to them, Nyai Roro Kidul liked the green color, therefore tourists who visit Parangtritis are advised not to wear green clothes. Besides loaded with the mystery story Nyai Roro Kidul, Parangtritis Beach is also told as a meeting place Panembahan Senopati with Sunan Kalijaga shortly after Panembahan Senopati completed the hermitage. Besides being famous as a place of recreation, Parangtritis is also a sacred place. Many visitors come to perform Labuhan ceremony from Keraton Jogjakarta.
2.3.2 Location Parangtritis Beach
Parangtritis Beach area is located in Parangtritis Village, Kretek District, Bantul Regency, Jogjakarta, about 27 km south of Jogjakarta City with relatively flat road so it is very easy to reach. From the direction of the city of Yogyakarta there are two paths that can be passed to reach this area. The first line is the straight line Jogjakarta - Jalan Parangtritis - Kretek - Parangtritis. This path is the main route used by tourists and the general public. The second line is the path of Jogjakarta - Imogiri - Siluk - Parangtritis. This path is more distant but promising a natural panorama that is also much more beautiful and amazing. Along the way up and down the hill (do not worry because the road is wide and paved smooth) your eyes will be spoiled with vast green rice fields, beautifully flowing suangai, and rows of karst hills. From the top of the hill, you will be able to see the view of the verdant trees from the hills below. Air is guaranteed to be very cool and fresh, especially if you go in the morning or evening. Around the beach there are innumerable hotels and inns with a variety of price ranges, including hotels and inns located on top of a hill that offers great views of the coast. Around the beach area, you can also find a variety of souvenir shops and souvenirs typical Jogjakarta (Bantul), grocery stores, and food stalls. Especially on food, you should not miss the culinary tour at Depok Beach that provides fish and other fresh seafood, instantly purchased and cooked on the spot, with a delicious choice of cooking spices. You can buy various kinds of fish, shrimp, squid, or crabs at Depok Fishing Place (TPI) and hire cooking services (which also provides lesehan, rice, sambal, lalapan, and various kinds of beverages including fresh young coconut) In the stalls along the Depok Beach. Eating fresh and steady seafood in Depok Beach is relatively cheap and affordable. In Depok Beach there is also a traditional market that sells various kinds of typical beach snacks, such as fried fish, undur-undur goreng, fish objects, and so forth. Also available here is rujak (fresh fruits with spicy sweet spices) at a very affordable price.
The tourist area of Parangtritis Beach also provides ample parking space and bathroom rental. While on the beach you can rent a horse cart (horse carriage), ATV, horses, and paragliding that is very challenging adrenaline. Taking pictures in the sand dunes makes you seem to be photographing in the deserts of Africa, no wonder this place is often used for prewedding photos. It is advisable you do not swim too deep, because Parangtritis Beach waves are quite dangerous.
